Lead Technician (HLA)

Responsibilities

As the HLA Lead Technician, your responsibility will be to ensure production is completed according to documented protocols and within the assigned schedule and time frames.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Ensure department records are legible and meet requirements specified by company defined procedures.

  • Maintain an understanding of required safety standards/regulations and biohazardous disposal procedures

  • Understand the basics of GMP and ISO 13485 requirements for the manufacture of in vitro Diagnostic Devices.

  • Meets achievement levels established for defined personal Performance objectives

  • Understand source, composition and characteristics of raw materials, final products and associated chemical and biosafety hazards.

  • Maintain inventory records and assist in ensuring raw material supplies are available to meet company and protocol requirements for final product and assist in verification that they meet minimum standards.

  • Understands manufacturing processes and equipment including required maintenance, cleaning and operational procedures necessary to maintain GMP and regulatory compliance

  • Maintain a general understanding of the activities of all company departments

  • Maintain a neat, organized and clean work area

  • Understand and maintain compliance with applicable company policies (as outlined in the company Employee Handbook), defined procedures, safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Lead Technician is flexible to work overtime when required to meet schedule demands. As well, interacts cooperatively and positively with coworkers and the employees of other departments and receives direction well from superiors.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Bachelors’ Degree with relevant work experience

  • Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of related experience.

  • Must have command of the procedures and systems used.

  • Must be ability work to specific measurable objectives requiring operational planning skill with little direct supervision

  • Previous GMP or experience in a regulated environment preferred

  • Good documentation skills

  • Work well with others

  • Organize workload effectively and efficiently

  • Work with minimal supervision and complete tasks within specified timeframes

  • Understand the basics of cGMP and FDA requirements
