We are currently sourcing a Senior Manager, Facilities & Engineering who will be responsible for providing technical expertise and managing day to day operations, leading projects for the Facilities & Environmental Health and Safety Departments, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures, schedules, regulations and standards (e.g. FDA/ GMP, ISO, and OSHA), at the Norcross Facility and remote sites as requested.If you are interested in joining an organization where your talents and expertise will be highly appreciated, apply today!

Sr. Mgr, Facilities & Engineering (Facilities Maintenance/Environmental Health and Safety)

Responsibilities

As a Sr. Manager, Facilities & Engineering, you will lead and supervise day-to-day operations for the Facilities, Engineering & Environmental Health and Safety Departments.Manage and ensure the appropriateness and efficiency of grounds keeping and housekeeping services, HEPA certification program, and corrective and preventive maintenance programs for the facility and all facility related equipment. Manage and ensure the appropriateness and efficiency of all EHS programs to include corporate EHS objectives and metrics, Lock Out Tag Out programs, EHS committees, monitoring for EHS regulation and standard changes, Accident and Health Exposure Control programs, incident Resolution programs, Emergency Action Plans, Waste Handling programs, Air; Waste Water; and Storm Water Permitting and Control programs, and Personnel Safety programs.

Specific duties for this position include:

  • Assist in Facility Capital Planning to include future project projections, requirements gathering, project prioritization, and scheduling.

  • Manage implementation of projects related to facility expansion and facility equipment acquisition and upgrades.

  • Manage and ensure the appropriateness and efficiency of all Facility Administration tasks and documents to include departmental SOPs, PM task lists, forms, attachments, Trackwise reviews, drawings, training records, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) records, Change Control records, requirements and specifications documents.

  • Assist in development of department Operating and Capital Expense budgets, and maintaining expenses to forecast, to include oversight of Facility Energy Management.

  • Perform annual performance appraisals for direct reports.

  • Manage and ensure the appropriateness and efficiency of all site protection programs to include access control systems, fire monitoring and suppression systems and site security systems and services.

  • Manage and ensure the appropriateness of all facility monitoring systems to include (BMS, Isensix, SCADA, OmniMetrix).

Qualifications

We are looking for a Sr. Manager Facilities & Engineering who combines effective leadership abilities with a deep expertise in Facilities Maintenance, Engineering and Environmental Health and Safety. You should be highly organized with advanced analytical and decision-making abilities and a proven record of building teams that work well together. It is also important that you display strong managerial, coaching and mentoring abilities as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an aptitude for a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with a high sense of urgency and collaboration.

Specific qualifications for this senior manager role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience;

  • Ability to manage and develop a team of 3-6 people

  • HVAC and HEPA Certifications, required

  • Working knowledge of electrical HVAC systems, PLC programming, DI water systems, Steam Generators, and Air Compressors, required

  • Flexible to work expanded hours and weekends when needed to meet customer demands

  • Must be able to interface with regulatory agencies for site audits
