We are seeking a Field Service Coordinator to act as the primary liaison between customers, field service staff, select vendors, management, shipping, tech support, sales and other internal departments. In this position, you will provide the highest quality of customer service by coordinating the daily activities of field service engineering staff. Field Service Coordinator - Instrument Service

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Coordinator, you will perform multiple tasks associated with Track Wise, creating a service record, inputting data as required into records, assigning an engineer, closeing the service call and completing the complaint record. Shift: Sunday-Thursday

Additional responsibilities for the Field Service Coordinator role include:

  • Perform multiple tasks associated with resolving instrument service requests, including scheduling the engineering staff for PM (preventative maintenance) / CM events, escalation of service issues to responsible managers, periodically review list of open service calls.

  • Filesany instrument related paperwork from all applicable Immucor personnel.

  • Ensure accurate and timely initiation of service billings and credits as required.

  • Maintain instrument IBV (install base viewer) to include updating new accounts, FSE assignments, PM and upgrade completions.

  • Perform multiple tasks associated with resolving instrument service requests, including scheduling the engineering staff for PM/CM events, escalation of service issues to responsible managers, periodically review list of open service calls.

  • Place all parts/returns orders for Field Service Engineers. Performs multiple tasks associated with the Baan software system, including but not limited to: creating, maintaining and closing service orders and sales orders, maintains installations, contracts, inventory, periodic maintenance, return material authorization’s (RMA’s) and month end closure.

  • Contribute ideas to continuous improvement of Field Service operations.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Field Service Coordinator, you must be available to work irregular hours (On Call) as necessary to meet customer and department requirements.

Other requirements for the Field Service Coordinator include:

  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment and be able to perform at a high level unsupervised .

  • Degree or experience in the Instrument Field Service area, strongly preferred.

  • Experience with BaaN/BaaN Ln software systems, strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Trackwise Enterprise Quality Management System is preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
