The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle high volume recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external) to fill positions (Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Engineering, IT, Facilities, Finance, etc.) with the best qualified candidates in a timely and cost effective manner. This position will ensure all talent acquisition activities are compliant with federal/state/local regulations, and coordinate with search firms to source candidates for hard to fill positions and oversee third party agency temporary staffing needs.

Corporate Recruiter - Talent Acquisition - Human Resources

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving abilities, be customer centric, detail-oriented, and have the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Provide life cycle recruiting and maintain company automated Recruiting/Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), to maximize the efficiency of the recruiting process and ensure compliance related to candidate selection

  • Initiated job requisitions through iCIMS, obtaining approvals to execute the recruiting process

  • Coordinate with hiring manager(s) to determine the best recruiting strategy for each for each position, and develop pre-screening questions to further qualify candidates

  • Screen resumes and for necessary knowledge, skills, abilities and credentials in relation to position requirements, interview candidates (phone or in person), make recommendations for hire (or not to hire), create offer letter, extend offers, initiate background check and drug screen, and maintain iCIMS ATS in the recruiting process

  • Strive to create a positive candidate experience, regardless of the hiring decision

  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as Immucor career website, LinkedIn, careers fairs, community networking events, etc. to identify and attract quality candidates

  • Act as liaison with employment agencies and search firms as needed

  • Maintain and promote employee referral program, generate reports and coordinate payments with payroll

  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager(s), generate transfer confirmation letters, etc.

  • Manage outreach efforts to attract qualified individuals with disabilities and veterans to ensure compliance with OFCCP hiring goals

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Develop and strong working relationships with Immucor leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility

  • Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional outreach organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diverse pool of candidates

  • Participate in college recruiting initiatives and community career fairs

  • Advise Receptionist and/or HR Coordinator of required scheduling of candidates for next steps in interview process

  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure audit readiness and compliance

  • Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies

  • Develop a pipeline of active and passive key talent, potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate

  • Manage relationship with relocation vendor, ensuring cost effective relocations

  • Stay informed of trends and innovative sourcing techniques in order to be competitive with state-of-the art recruiting practices

  • Recommend new sources to identify quality candidates

Corporate Recruiter - Talent Acquisition - Human Resources

Qualifications

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for creating meaningful experiences, and will build strong relationships with leaders and employees.

Additional qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of full life-cycle recruiting, preferably in a Laboratory and/or medical device manufacturing industry

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or related business discipline, REQUIRED

  • Medical Technologist and/or Blood Banking background a plus

  • Strong knowledge in all full life-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to: sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing candidates, employment regulations, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management and due diligence

  • Experience with iCIMS or other applicant tracking system.

  • AIRS Certification(s), SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credentials, preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit nationally/locally for a broad range of positions

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Solid understanding of employment law and affirmative action

  • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining on-line databases

  • Experience with ADP or other HRIS

  • Demonstrated experience with behavior-based and/or competency-based interviewing, and knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and practices.

  • Self-motivated, organized with strong attention to detail

  • Must be high-energy and approach duties proactively

  • Ability to successfully manage competing demands simultaneously

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of role
