We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate to join our team. A clinical research associate (CRA) sets up, monitors and completes clinical trials. The clinical trials are scientific studies of the effects, risks, efficacy and benefits of new and existing drugs, devices, and/or biologics. Clinical Research Associate (Biomedical Research Laboratory)

Responsibilities

The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) The candidate should have some knowledge of ICH-GCP and a strong interest in clinical research. Professional use of the English language; both written and oral is essential.

Additional responsibilities as a Clinical Research Associate include:

  • Under the supervision of manager and/or CRA mentor:oComplete laboratory testing for all clinical trials

  • Complete laboratory testing for all clinical trials

  • Perform instrument maintenance and supply the clinical trial lab

  • Act as the main line of communication between Immucor and investigator sites with assistance from more senior CRAs, as guidance, and as neededo Verify that all research staff, facilities and investigational products have adequate qualifications and resources and these remain adequate throughout the trialo Responsible for the safety and proper conduct throughout the trialo Verify that the investigator follows the approved protocol and all GCP/ICH procedureso Verify that source data/documents and other trial records are accurate, complete, and maintainedo Conducting site visits, initially under supervision, and completing a site visit report following each visito Communicate deviations from the protocol, SOPs, GCP, and the applicable regulatory requirements to Immucor and investigator sites

Qualifications

Immucor, Inc. is looking for a qualified Clinical Research Associate with a strong work ethic that takes their work seriously and possesses strong decision making and problem solving skills. The most typical candidate for a Clinical Research Associate,entry level position, possesses a bio-medical related scientific degree, which can vary from a bachelor, master and nursing qualifications. The candidate should have some knowledge of ICH-GCP and a strong interest in clinical research. Professional use of the English language; both written and oral is essential.

Additional requirements as a Clinical Research Associate include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related biomedical / scientific study (varies from bachelor, master)

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP

  • Strong interest in clinical research

  • Professional use of the English language

  • Written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to travel
