The primary duties of this position include business systems analysis, project management, workflow analysis, and technical communication.
Additional responsibilities for this business analyst position include, but are not limited to:
Implementation and Support of ERP LN, Factory Track and Business Intelligence & Reporting solutions and other peripheral products and applications for enterprise wide applications.
Interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their business process requirements, analyze, document user’s needs, and perform GAP Analysis
Document the functional and technical design of the processes or enhancement as it relates to business process requirements, and relationships among various enterprise systems.
Document the types and structure of the business processes and procedures (logical modeling)
Work with the process owners to understand their requirements to improve and automate how these processes and procedures are performed.
Develop solutions utilizing ERP LN and related systems to address these requirements to improve and automate how these processes and procedures are performed.
Collaborate with internal resources and consultants to develop optimal solutions related to the implementation and use of the ERP LN and other applications solution.
Mapping and Configuring business processes in ERP LN and other products, suggesting work-around to ensure that business requirements are addressed
Conducts unit and integrated testing of business processes
Maintains DEMs (Enterprise Process Models/Flows in ERP LN) flows and Roles assignments.
Maintenance and Data Governance of Logistics and Manufacturing related global ERP Master Data.
Design and create Operational Reports and BI Analytical solutions and Dashboards to provide information as a result of these process improvements. Identify other reporting and information requirements which can be addressed through the ERP LN and current BI solution.
Create ERP system documentation and user manuals.
Providing recommendations for improvements in departmental processes and procedures.
Lead support analyst by functioning as primary IS contact for end users.
Participate in the project management of the implementation and enhancement of the ERP solution, including completing project and training documentation, communicating with the business stakeholders, coordinating design and solution sessions with all key business, IT and third party stakeholders, and ensure the teams are working together to develop the solutions that best address the needs of the Company
This position combines functional expertise, project coordinatin and business management skills with an understanding of information technology, and specific knowledge of the ERP LN modules and peripheral products. This position requires problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users. This position requires an ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and to focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks required to maintain system functionality.
Specific requirements for this business analyst position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or related experiences
3-5 years of Business Analysis experience working with major ERPs (INFOR's ERP LN is highly preferred) and 3rd party product integrations.
Strong analytical and project management skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs, model business functions, and translate them into application and operational requirements
Proven IT knowledge of business analysis process and functions
3+ years of exeperience working as an analyst on at least Logistics of Manufacturing domain
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
